Seattle WA Weather - The weather in Seattle has been known to change suddenly at the drop of a dime. But it always suggested that you be prepared with light raingear and a decent layer of clothes. Winter can be cold, so if you are visiting during the colder months, don’t forget to pack sweaters and lots of warm clothing.

Although Seattle is famous for its rain, sometimes the actual rainfall has been overly exaggerated. It‘s not so much a downpour that occurs, but sometimes just a light mist. The winter months are particularly wet and towns located in the mountains receive quite a bit of snow. The summer months, particularly July and August, are beautiful and pleasant, offering the warmth of sunshine and pretty blue skies. The busiest time to visit Seattle is during the summer months. If you don’t like to wrestle through crowds, you could opt to visit the pleasant area of the nearby mountain areas or islands.
