Seattle WA Museums - There are many choices to choose from when you feel like
visiting an interesting or exciting display of what the city has to offer.
Because you cannot view every museum during your stay, you have to be careful in
pinpointing the ones that are right for you to avoid wasting your precious time.
You could spend the day at the Seattle Art Museum and view art by Andy Warhol or
maybe you’d like to visit the Seattle Asian Art Museum and collections of
Chinese, Japanese and Himalayan art. Museum hours vary in Seattle, but most are
open from 10 to 5 Tuesday through Saturday, with shorter hours on Sunday.

well as its fine collection of modern art produced by Pacific Northwest artists.
21,000 pieces await to please you at this attraction, centrally located in the

Museum of Flight

Explore the history of flight from the Wright Brothers to space travel when you
make your way to this museum. Collections include examples of commercial,
military and civilian craft. Some of the exhibits include a 1929 Boeing 80A-1
(the sole survivor of its type), a 1926 Swallow that was used as the nation's
first contracted airmail service and a M-21 Blackbird, considered the fastest
and highest-flying aircraft ever built

Come and learn about the history of Seattle and the Pacific Northwest with this
museum. The story of the city unfolds with exhibits from the 1800s to the
present. Some exhibits include Boomtown Seattle during the Klondike Gold Rush, A
Change of Worlds, the vanishing race of the Puget Sound Indian peoples and
examples of late 19th- and early 20th-century quilts.
Glass Eye Gallery

Artists fashion the glass produced by volcanic eruptions and the pieces are then
put on display. This gallery, run by Rob Adamson and Dale Leman, features the
work of this relatively unknown craft. You will be able to take a peak at a huge
variety of Christmas ornaments, plates and vases- many available for purchase at
reasonable prices.

Located in the Pioneer Square gallery district, this gallery provides a space
for contemporary local sculptors, printmakers, painters and glass artists to
show their work. The gallery also sells books on the art on display and other
related topics.

Whoever thought there was such a thing as a white alligator ? This attraction is
home to a slew of fascinating creepy-crawlies, including boa constrictors,
turtles, frogs, spiders and lizards. A great place to entertain the kiddies.
