Seattle Mid-Price Hotels
Mid Price Seattle WA Hotel - The largest concentration of hotels in the
Seattle area are located downtown and near the airport. You may be able to find
a couple of places to stay in the suburbs of Bellevue and Kirkland. If you don't
mind paying a little extra, downtown hotels are the most convenient, but if you‘d
rather save your money to spend at the areas shopping districts, try to stay
near the Space Needle, in the Lower Queen Anne neighborhood or in the University
District where more reasonable prices are offered.
When purchasing a hotel room, don’t forget that there is a 15.6% hotel tax in
Seattle for Hotels with more than 20 rooms and an 8.6% tax for properties with
fewer than 20 rooms. Areas outside of the city limits charge a 7.9% tax. Make
sure you reserve a room well in advance if you plan visiting Seattle during
